Reservations
Reservations are required to stay at the Inn on Crescent Lake. In order to ensure availability for your specific room, please call or reserve online well in advance.
Cancellations
A Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express account number is required in order to reserve a room at the Inn. Your card is used to hold your reservation; you may pay with cash or credit card at the time of your arrival. Due to the unique nature of the Inn and its sleeping rooms, we regret that cancellations within 14 days of your scheduled arrival must be charged despite the cancellation. We will make every effort to rebook your room in the event of a late cancellation and will credit your credit card to the extent that your room is rebooked. This cancellation policy is extended for holidays and large groups and is otherwise subject to change without notice.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in time at the Inn on Crescent Lake is between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. If you should need to arrive outside of our check-in time, please call the Inn so we can make arrangements for your self check-in.
Check-ins between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. will be considered early and an additional $10 fee will apply. Early check-ins will require advanced approval and scheduled arrival time. Please note: If you have scheduled an early check-in and fail to arrive on time, you will be charged an additional $5 for every 30 minutes past your scheduled arrival time. The additional fees cover added staffing costs to accommodate your early arrival.
Check-out time on your day of departure is 11 a.m. If you would like to enjoy the grounds after check-out time (until 12:30 p.m.), we would be happy to store your luggage.
Minimum Stay
Most of the year we accept single-night reservations; however, we do require a minimum two-night stay on three-day holiday weekends and all weekend bookings of three or more rooms (e.g. either Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday).
Discounts
Except on holidays and three-day holiday weekends, we offer the following discounts. Please inquire at the time of booking if these may apply OR simply make a note of your discount in the "comments" section of your online reservation:
- $10/night for clergy, single-guest, AAA, AARP, or active military (applicable cards must be shown at time of check-in). Use coupon code "10OFF" when booking your stay, and we will apply the discount to all applicable nights in your reservation. Discounts may not be combined.
- Negotiable: Extended-stay (three or more nights)
Room Restrictions
Open flames of any kind are strictly prohibited from use in rooms (flameless candles are permitted). The use of rose petals in the room is prohibited due to the fact that they stain fine linens, carpet, and upholstery. Guests will be charged full price for any damage, required cleaning, or replacement necessary.
Smoking
The Inn is a non-smoking establishment. We do however have a covered area outside to accommodate our smoking guests. If we discover that you have smoked in your room, a minimum fee of $250 will be charged for professional cleaning and sterilization. If any irreparable damage is discovered, you also will be charged for all costs incurred to restore the room to its original condition.
Children
For safety reasons and for the comfort of our guests, only children age 16 or older can be accommodated. Well-behaved children are allowed at events where there is exclusive use of the Inn (such as weddings, family reunions, etc.).
Extra Guests
Each room has a maximum occupancy limit of two except for the Cottage (which accommodates two additional guests with an extra of $25 per night per guest). This limit is strictly enforced. If guests misrepresent themselves, they will be required to vacate the premises immediately without a refund. Please note that only registered guests are allowed on the property except during estate rentals, during which unregistered guests are not permitted entry into guest rooms or use of the amenities.
Parking
Private parking is available to all guests at no additional charge.
Pets
Regrettably, no pets are allowed.
Key Replacement
There is a $40 charge if keys are not returned.
Left Items
Please check your room before you depart to make sure you take all your belongings. We are not responsible for items that you leave behind. If you forget something important and notify us, and we can find the item, we will have it sent to you for the cost of shipping.
